Courage doesn’t always have to be standing on the battlefield, or going to the hospital for cancer treatments, or any other huge event. It can be smaller and simpler in our eyes, but monumental in the person.
My granddaughter has courage. She has excelled at leadership, honesty and integrity but four days ago she met a big challenge for a young woman who is loved deeply by her family and always “came home“. This week she is at college about five hours away and the whole family misses her spark, as she in turn had to take the steps alone with courage, missing us. We are very proud of all she is and all she will become.
