Jones thinks it’s his wife’s hobby
Watching all the well to do
Dresses, bags, even shoes
He’s hoping for the bellhop’s nudge
With a they “don’t belong” grudge
To leave the free sitting room
Before the real guests’ influx boom
Jones just stands, so complacent
He’s had years of being patient.

Ha! This made me smile. He does look like a patient man, just killing time. Nicely done!

Jones has seen it all and he has all the answers. He’s probably never left a 2 square block of the city.
