Simply Six Minutes

It had been a bad day, a really miserable, no good at all day I’d like to erase from my calendar. Well that’s what I ended up doing. The details are a bit iffy, but one look at myself this morning and I thought that day was the worst I’d ever seen, but now, of course it was not!

“Just one, no more,” Jason warned me last night, as he handed me the small green capsule. I downed it with no hesitation whatsoever, followed by a large whiskey, neat. Did I tell you already I had the worst day of my twenty-six years yesterday? That’s what I thought. Boy was I wrong. It turns out Jason is a trickster and gave me that pill on purpose, knowing how I would wake up this morning. When this fades, I definitely am seeking revenge!
