You can hope for good weather when from your bed you rise
You can offer hope to others if you feel their tenser side
You can hope the Yankees win or maybe it’s the Sox
You can hope it’s what you wanted opening a birthday box
Standing by a bedside you hope the patient will get well
Buying a lottery ticket you can hope it’s the winner that they sell
Hope is just a wish you make as each day shows the sun
I hope my family stays safe and healthy- priority number one.

Whether consciously or not, humans constantly hope for things! I’m reading a book about it.
