It was just a lark
To quell a spark
My daughter young
Wants me to go along
It did look high
I started to sigh
I’ve done it before
Not since years or more
I sat in the seat
Clamped the bar down
It started to move
I started to frown
As you can see

It’s obvious to me
I was showing some fear!

Was watching with fright
The look on my face
Gave her no delight
I think when it comes to rides like these
I’ll just stand and watch the others with ease.
