along the dry grassy shoreline
strewn with sweet scented yellow flowers
I could even stand here for hours
rushing river water capped white
red rocky cliffs in my sight
bright blue and white canopy viewed
stuff for inviting poems I can construe.

Take a Walk with Me!
I would stand there for hours too, what a joy. The sounds and feelings you evoke make we want to go out and walk (construed indeed).

I feel the warmth, smell the flowers, hear the river and see the colours – and it was touching – all the senses ….

That was a lovely stroll, Cheryl, slow and steady, like the rhyming couplets, taking in the landscape. And what a view, bright with colour and Colorado sunshine!

Loving this! I have family in Littleton (near Denver), Colorado. Thanks for taking me there again. I so remember the red rocky cliffs — and the aspens! 🙂 So glad you posted to the prompt.
