dVerse Poets Quadrille – Gasp

Little feet making tiny tracks
Where dirt and gravel lack
Snow carpeting everywhere
In forested landscapes there
Small hands, mittened warmth
Boots heated at the hearth
Adventures were on her mind
Wearing coat heavily lined
Wishing to see the deer again,
Suddenly, a gasp!
