The Memorial

He sat in shadows thinking about the memorial to deliver the next day at gym assembly. A spy watching might think he was inventing a lovely speech to placate them. A teacher he privately despised and was told to memorialize was a segment of his career even though required, he felt he couldn’t do. This was the first time as principal he hated his job.
