Write a poem on any topic in any poetic form, that includes at least one of the flavors of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream in the list above. You must use the words exactly as they appear in the flavor name. No words in between them; no changing the tense of the words or making them plural or possessive. You may however, add punctuation before, between or after the words in the flavor.
Sipping his urban bourbon nightcap hoping for a better day
Possibly a cool brittania
He had walked through the urban jumble that morning
Sidewalks so hot they buckled like wavy gravy,
Feet sticking slightly in the dastardly mash
Feeling half-baked from the season’s heat wanting solace
A cool late night snack might soothe
“This is nuts” he thought, longing for Miz Jelena’s sweet potato pie or a sugar plum
Instead deciding no sleep would come, chose a coffee coffee buzzbuzzbuzz, settling with a book.

Settling on a book and coffee is always a great choice! Sweet poem.

LOVE this! Oh you did indeed have fun with the prompt. Flavors piled up in the cone….so well interspersed in the tale you’re telling and the character you created! LOVE it!
