Today’s Quadrille prompt word—as I’m certain you’ve guessed–is celebrate. Use the word, or some form of the word, such as celebrated, celebration, etc. in your poem today. If you’re new to dVerse or the quadrille, it’s simply a poem of 44 words, excluding the title. It can be in any form, rhymed or unrhymed, metered, or unmetered. You MUST use the word “celebrate” or some form of the word in your poem. Are you ready to celebrate? You probably know a quadrille is type of dance popular in the 18th century, a precursor of present-day square dances. So put on your thinking cap and dancing shoes–and celebrate with other dVerse poets.
