She walks silently in contemplation.

While the family pet is an excuse for solitude, she ponders what might have been—

Was it the summer heat, the heavy scent of magnolias in the garden—the furtive touch, the deep kiss that told of imperative need or simply a single moment of passion—

She walks on, a smile begins and her pace enlightened.
