Ours not to question why, ours but to do or die, my version of a phrase from “The Charge of the Light Brigade” by Alfred, Lord Tennyson. I admit saying this sometimes to my kids when my actions were questioned with “why?” because an unpleasant task had to be done. The inevitable never ending questions from the moment your child first speaks, and goes on forever until you finally retort with “Because I said so!” I know it’s not the ideal perfect parents’ response.

All parents hate the neverending questions from their kids, and, there is no perfect way to parent! You do your best, says the girl with no kids! Lol!
