Cherry Tree Woes

You can use a cloth

Cover it with style

But we’ll channel the sugar

And proceed to defile

When they’re ripe, they sign

It’s a gift tied with a bow

No disguise can hide it

They are ready to sow

It’s a burning need instead of trained eyes

A buzz in our brain that tells us to fly

That bell signals us when the fruit is prime

We have to act quickly and just in time.
