Whether I’m fat or whether I’m thin

Just love me for the skin that I’m in

And as for brains and how mine works

Sometimes it balks and then it jerks.

One time it came loose from its screws

I ended up spouting vicious views

Most times I’m forgiving and nice

Sometimes tired, asking more than twice.

Monsters we be in different forms

But who wants to be considered the norm?

Of course I may have to prove that now and then

But after that I’m pretty tolerable again.
