The first event I went to in Mexico after I moved there, about 2 months after the death of my husband, I walked in and the musician was playing “Romance”–the song the guitarist played at our wedding as we took our vows. I did the same–in the street outside the building where the event was held. Seems a sign sometimes.
My husband was named Bob, also. We’d already bought the house in Mexico and were packed and ready to leave when we discovered his cancer and he died 3 weeks later. Everyone said I should stay among friends and family, but I, too, liked going somewhere where I wasn’t suffering anyone else’s grief or reminded by old surroundings. I’ve been here ever since.
It helps some. I moved here a year after my husband passed away in CO. I wanted everything different. It’s only the last year or so when I am missing him more than ever.
I’ve always liked his music.

He’s a keeper. He’s on A&E all week, if you get that.

Right after my husband passed away I started hearing “The Dance” every time I got in my car. I would bawl my eyes out. It is so true!

So true! My hope was to be out of my house after Bob died…then my son died…I hate it here but it hasn’t sold yet. I need new scenery!

Skip out and let the realtor handle it. So sorry for your losses, too much for a person.
