Opened the drapes looked around

Chill in the air, snow on the ground

Thermostat reading fifty degrees

That’s enough to make me sneeze

So finally acquiesced, turned on the heat

My legs will be happy and so will my feet.

    1. Yes, I spent the summer with no a/c and I’m sure turning the heat on, set to 62 will cost me. But I prefer to walk from the coffee pot to the couch without it turning into ice🙄😄
