FFftPP #32 – Legacy

A hot sunny day and Sarah still had not completed her task. The cordoned off lavender garden was so overgrown it was surrounding the now inaccessible respite. She remembered days of sitting opposite her grandmother, iced tea or lemonade and a spread of cookies she loved on the white iron table. Those memories visited her as she worked to revitalize the rest of the gardens her grandmother shared with the public. It was her life work, and now it fell to Sarah to keep the legacy of beauty.
