“Pardon me, gentlemen, but did you see what happened here?” The young reporter shoved the microphone into the policemen’s faces.
“Well some of it. You see when the capacity of that rigid fiberglass started to bend from the pressure inside the flux capacitor, I think the whole thing just blew! We warned ’em, didn’t we Jake?”
“Yessir. But those capricious know-it-alls couldn’t lower themselves to realize the danger we already thought of.”
“Now look at all this crunched up glass and dirt, blowing around. It don’t take a shrink to realize these guys flipped out, nosiree.”
The reporter pressed on. “Is that your professional opinion?”
“C’mon, Jake, let’s get some lunch.”
