
Since the pool is open, snow on the side, but who’s looking, and it’s time for fun in the sun, someone came up with an idea for that fun, a Noodle. Why it has this name I’m not entirely sure, because it doesn’t soften in liquid which traditional noodles do. It’s not pliable as a wet noodle either, in fact it would be useless if it was….so why the name Noodle?
You could try tying a bunch of these stiff noodle blocks together for a float, but it probably wouldn’t last long:

And these would tangle all around and you would probably drown:

So my question still stands: why are these Styrofoam things called Noodles?
