I have a Dragonfly as my header image, just changed to a new pic today. I chose the Dragonfly because it is a symbol of change. That is why I started the blog after a few huge changes had occurred. The first year of blogging was all about how my life morphed into something almost completely different. That is why the Socrates quote and the beautiful Dragonfly photos.
The Bag Lady 
I too am a dragonfly fanatic. Most people are familiar with the metamorphosis of a butterfly, but I would argue that the change of a dragonfly is even more dramatic, because dragonflies spend most of their lives under water before they are transformed into beautiful aerial acrobats.
