A post if you will
Cause I’ve no employment
I write right here
For my own enjoyment
I pass the time
Hoping to rhyme
Until I see
Some thing–it be
Amusing, inspiring, whatever they choose
Such as this one- “a moose on the loose”.
Being an old country girl
I am inspired to give this a whirl:
I’ve never seen one stroll in town
But their antics are well known.
I think Maine is their favorite haunt
If they desire a populated jaunt
Otherwise they stay in the woods
Not terrorizing neighborhoods.

In my defense, it seems Spring has Sprung here in lovely🙄 downtown Cheyenne and I’m feeling giddy!
