Three Line Tales #156

Parents were forever haunted by their sons who sneaked out for an innocent adventure. Unknowing what they’d discover, or repercussions, it was a night when ten year old boys decided they would fool their parents.

Jack and John gathered their sleeping bags and instead of camping out in each other’s backyard, took a walk down to the lake. Settling in next to the shoreline they dismissed the odd reflection on the water.

Giggling about their deception prowess, they failed to notice the movement of the reflected object. By the time they heard gnashing of giant teeth, it was too late.
