We visited this memorial in the seventies with our small children. I could not look down or walk over the ship beneath us. It was very upsetting.

The Bag Lady 
We went ten years ago, a somber place indeed. Must have been terrifying to be there.

It’s one of those things you can’t believe until you see it. It was the same at Gettysburg. How small an area and all the lives lost.

Agree – I’ve been to Gettysburg as well the place is haunted.
