Carrot Ranch Flash Fiction 6-14-18

He grabbed a bunch of wild flowers, not really a neat bouquet, but she would love it. John knew she would prefer one like this, wild, unformed, natural. The roots showing, untamed, fitting her personality perfectly. John loved this about her. He was attracted to her not only because of her natural beauty, easy manner and free thinking life; she was extremely knowledgeable, and always open to new ideas.

Earlier John carefully packed a picnic lunch with her favorite treats. A bottle of wine tucked in and he was ready to go. The bouquet was snatched from his garden.
