She waited patiently for the rigging to reach her window. She had been waiting a while, ever since she saw the window washer’s truck pull up. She knew it was coming, it was Thursday.
Madeleine’s everyday life in the studio apartment was just that, ordinary. Boring, uneventful, even though she had her brushes and paints to keep her company. She was a recluse, everything she needed was delivered. Even the gallery owner travelled to obtain her excellent paintings, he was so grateful for her talent.
Thursdays the recluse made an exception, serving a special coffee blend to her suspended admirer.
Our apartment window cleaner uses a long pole which is great because I don’t see his face distracting me from my painting 😏 great post C

We don’t have them here. One gust and it would need redoing anyway. 😂
