Putting My Feet in the Dirt April 23

“Do or do not, there is no try” (Yoda) was well chosen by the makers of this challenge. After a texted conversation with my nieces, their mom–my sister, and Frank, my niece’s husband, I was reminded of strength–family strength, in particular.

Three of us sisters are widows, which isn’t surprising, since I am the youngest, and will be 72 this year. We are all strong women, and not just in our opinions. ; ) Two of them had seven children, one four, and I had three. That fact alone means we are survivors!

The picture below is of one of my muti-talented sisters, M, and three of her seven children. M is definitely a survivor and uses humor much like I do to go through life.

She “does” very well.
