I’ll stir it a bit, my lovely brew

It’s the only way I can be with you

I’ll write a poem, maybe a story

About you and me, it will feature glory

Love that’s boundless if it could

Never mind the “if we should”

It’s there, it’s real, it’s here to last

Never worry about our pasts

I’ll write about it, stir the pot

Hoping you will forget me not.

  4. Yes! That’s a great take on the post.
    Reminds me of “Double, double, toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble”… except that it’s more romantic than the three witches scene from Macbeth.
