Being by herself and lonely
Missing so her “one and only”
At a dance for local elders
Held by old-folks-home-nurse checkers,
Spied a gent that raised temptation
He acted coy in contemplation
Assessing her lone situation
Pocketed his “ready” medication
And approached her with discretion
Keeping just his shy expression
Wouldn’t think to be aggressive
But his passion grew excessive
She winked at him without repression
He saw the flirt, t’was her confession
He decided to pop the question
Would you like to dance?
Very good. 😊
