Woke up this morning a little dimmer
Last night chances became a bit slimmer
My life seems to have lost its shimmer
Thought things were over, but continue to simmer
Stars aren’t so bright, sun not so warm
Things not back to the regular norm
Clouds gather causing a threat
I’m not outside but my face is wet
Disappointment came to call
Problems I can’t forget at all
Life just never seems to reign
So many things I cannot change
I can ask why over and again
The cup is full, I’ve said “when”
But it just keeps coming, no matter what
Twists and turns, stirring your gut
Up and then down and around again
Didn’t you hear me? I said, “when!”
We are what we think Cheryl 💜

Wow. Good one. Hopefully not too true for you and if so, hopefully things will simmer down.
