After reading the “genius” President was going to cast another blow to women and healthcare concerns, I started humming “Another One Bites the Dust”, thinking, here goes another one down. People have fought for women’s issues in healthcare for a long time, and here comes the good old boy network with their vicious Fosdick grins tearing down any progress made. This of course, is not a women’s issue alone. Curbing unwanted pregnancies should be a world issue for many reasons. It takes two to tango, but somewhere along the line, these so called leaders in office think it’s their prerogative to let women fend for ourselves. It’s not just a feminist issue. It should be on everyone’s agenda to not go back into the dark ages with healthcare.
