I suppose you could criticize

Say age is why I can’t memorize

I see the word or name I want

Breezes by in my brain font

That’s a problem it doesn’t stay

Sounds not from my mouth to say

Oh yes, I remember that

Wasn’t that from “The Cat in the Hat”?

Time for learning’s when you’re small

Then you can absorb it all

When you begin to age

It requires a different stage

Thank the heavens it exists

The simple act of writing lists.
