Driving along on the highway
Scrunched by someone in my way
Sharing the road trying to merge
Sometimes cause a sudden lurch
Getting on the road you share
A lane with others driving there
If they quickly just move over
You might end up in a field of clover
That’s if you’re lucky
Traveling on country
Roads with no cement hedges
Only soft natural edges
You might survive the sudden separation
When pushed off regular demarcation
They were only trying to merge
Still moving, not trying to perch
A sickening bump and you’ve been lurched.

Ok, I’ve to say this, you write these poems about things I’ll never even dream of having a poem dedicated to them. 🙂
These kind of poems of yours, they always brings a smile to my face.

No, and don’t worry. I’m a bit odd too, so there isn’t anything we have to say about that, we will simply discuss your beautiful poem about driving. 🙂
