About lettuce and kale
Or spin you a yarn
Of an evil barn
Recite a spirit fable
Of a moving table
Or a made up story
All spooky and gory
A legend of kings killed in their beds
Revenge of the queen he offed her head
A myth of fairies and elves
Or take a book from the shelf
And read a bio novel
Rise to fame from a hovel
Memoirs of the famous
Some indeed shameless
Whatever you like,
You could take the mic
And share a poem
In the narrative form.
Whatever you choose
Don’t take from the news!
Those biased views
Get bad reviews.

Should remain a mystery.
