After years of living so-so

Now I’m more in the know

It’s easy to stay on an even plain

Easy to stay and just maintain

But when kids and partner are gone

And there’s no one left to mow the lawn

House builds up with things full of dust

Hate to get out of bed but know you must

It takes a little effort, maybe some shaking

To get yourself going and awaken

To the world you have left to peruse

Get out and see what you have to use

Get out and try, you’ve got nothing to lose.
