Standing here I’m mesmerized.

The mountains so outsized

Their beauty, all beyond compare

Cannot believe it as I stare

It’s much too pretty and majestic

Purple and blues, almost mystic

And velvet green of the grass

Such beauty in this mountain pass.

Mother Nature won’t be outdone

I feel I’m a privileged one 

To see all of this in the sun.
