I’m familiar with red

Since it’s on my head

Born with red hair

And skin very fair

Freckles of course

Come with that look

Not just in picture books.

I always wanted raven hair

Then today it’d be white

Giving such a flair.

But no I am now stuck with red

Grayish blonde covering parts of my head.

    1. In this country Redheads are a brand of match. They were an iconic Aussie brand for years and the redhead on the packet was instantly distinguishable. Then in the 80’s or 90’s they became just another brand to be sold to some off shore company. A few years later one of our greatest and smartest entrepreneurs who has always preached ‘buy Australian’ made his own matches in this country to keep profits here and he called then Dickheads because his first name is Dick
