“Are you coming?” Joe asked impatiently. “It’s not that bad. See that guy down there? Look how he’s skiing, definite beginner. If he can do it, surely you’ll give it a try!” Joe was an excellent skier. He was fast and accurate, his red pants and no ski jacket confirmed he was used to the atmosphere.
Dave, on the other hand was bundled up to the hilt and looking down the long slope, his legs were turning to jelly. They had taken the lift to the very top of the run and instead of a nice cup of Irish coffee, they were going straight down the hill immediately. He liked his friend Joe very much, but he was just super confident and Dave was the opposite.
“Come on, Dave, time’s awastin'”. Joe started down and Dave hesitated for a second and then took the plunge, literally. His skis crossed and he ended up head first in the snow. Joe was long gone.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve gone skiing, Cheryl. I was often head first in the snow, waiting for some kindly five-year-old to help me out, lol! 😉 xoM
