Many times in our lives our destination changes. When I was fourteen my destination was to become an executive secretary or a journalist. My aptitude test read mechanic! I took business classes and planned on business college. I wanted to pay my own way, so started working. Then I met my husband and my destination changed. After our children grew my direction turned to employment, and I had a few fun and interesting jobs. As time passed I wanted to be my own boss and the road turned into three different self employed jobs. My path changed again when my health turned me into a part timer. Over the years, I’ve had many satisfying destinations. At present I’m finding pleasant rewards as a mother and grandmother, my very best occupation. Writing a bit over the years has always been enjoyable, but writing this blog is fun. My want for new destinations is pretty much over for now, I think I’m settling in. You never know, that new opportunity might be just around the corner with new worlds to explore, and new goals to achieve.

Good article, and being a grandparent is the greatest isn’t it? Enjoy them and send them home lol.

I understand this post. Some could say that not having destinations is giving up, I believe it’s finding a peace of mind … interesting 🤔
