Today a birthday from lost love
Maybe he’s celebrating up above?
Whatever and wherever I’ll do my best
And live this day remembering his zest.

Life is challenging at the age of twelve
Many ideas for your mind to delve
Making moves as others wish
In glass bowls with no fish
Judgment always by your peers
Never changes through the years
You can only try to do your best
As if you’re playing a game of chess.

What I wouldn’t give
For a chance to live
Outside these caged-in walls
Bask among home’s icy falls.
Living here in the zoo
You see me and I see you
I might look scary that is true
But would you like to live in a zoo?
If I was home in the Arctic
It would be cathartic
I could live and roam free
There, you could visit me!

My Story Could start with my time in Vermont. I was born in New hampshire and the first in my family born in a hospital. I left New England at the Age Of nineteen. Texas was my destination and a Relatively naive girl was Initiated into a new land with strange talking, prejudiced people and Orientated into a completely different lifestyle than she knew before. This was an eye opening experience, not entirely bad, as I look back on it today. However, I do wonder who that girl would be today if she had never left the safety of her original home.

Jerry scrambled up the stairs to the bathroom. His brother was surprised, as Jerry hardly ever ran to or from anything. Joe followed him into the room, asking if he was okay.
Jerry ignored him and took a number of items from the pharmacy bag, setting them on the bathroom counter. “It’s fine, Joe. I just need you to help me with this hair dye.”
“What? Why are you dying your hair?”
“I just realized, gentlemen prefer blondes.”
