The University of Wyoming tech goes to work!

There are lots of prompts every day here on WordPress. The only word that comes to mind for me is:

Is it just me or is the world right now perfectly described in this word?

For those stuck with family inside
Remember when you went for a ride
Showing the kids animals in a zoo
Now you know how they felt too.
Life sequestered always a gamble
Just how much togetherness can you handle?
All fine as a concept, even envied by some
But being forced, now it’s troublesome
Olden days of all living in a cabin
Now life forges a different habit
Entangled lives by force or by choice
Do you now have a different voice?

Take a lesson from a child
Wide open eyes
Without prejudice
Seeking adventure
Unlimited imagination
These brave hearts
Should continue as adults
Children need us to show hope and determination, not fear.

Boinnnnggg! As I go back in time to the April firsts in my younger days and visit my old neighbor of twenty years, remembering her each year and on her April first birthday. I’m sure she’s in some other universe acting as a substitute grandmother as she did my own children in the seventies. She was here from Holland and had what I thought an old fashioned schedule for every day of the week. If invited for tea, her work for the day had to be done first. My children probably remember her most from her Christmas and Easter confections. She was a wonderful woman and I miss her.

Known by her striking red hair
Her temper flares as well
Nicknamed Red by her friends
Caused her ego to swell
Often outrageous actions
Followed a temper true
Justified by her Irish hair
Repercussions then came due
Aging seemed to calm her some
Realizing all she’d done
Fighting for just causes
None of which she’d won
Alas this tale is sorrowful
But heed her actions please
Always using temperance
Doesn’t accomplish the deed.

(After spending time putting this in centered form, WP changed it back. I don’t know how to have it posted in the way I want it to appear, as centered. I must say frustration levels with WP are getting to be too much.)
In clouds
Grey and white shown
Representative of
Feelings now held by you and me
Distress
We must concentrate on the white
The white showing us hope
Bright salvation

In an article by the New York Times, you can read how the Mexico border construction is ramping up to prevent the virus from them. What? Mexico should be scared of America giving the virus to them!
How can a man be so uninformed yet so powerful, so unintelligent yet blatantly followed? He has no common sense, he’s a petulant child! Excerpts:

Shine a light on your intentions
Are you a sincere chap
Holding my hand with promises
Holding close to my wishes
Enlighten me, is this real?
