Boinnnnggg! As I go back in time to the April firsts in my younger days and visit my old neighbor of twenty years, remembering her each year and on her April first birthday. I’m sure she’s in some other universe acting as a substitute grandmother as she did my own children in the seventies. She was here from Holland and had what I thought an old fashioned schedule for every day of the week. If invited for tea, her work for the day had to be done first. My children probably remember her most from her Christmas and Easter confections. She was a wonderful woman and I miss her.
