The strangest thing happened as I went to the theme park. I was looking forward to the rocket ride, and just stepping into the waiting line, when all of a sudden it took off. I don’t mean as a ride, but actually the entire rocket left the ground!

The crowd shrieked and covered their children, while the proprietor of the rocket ride just stood frozen with his mouth open and stared at the disappearing sight.

Of course I was disappointed, but decided to go to the garden area and have a cup of tea. After Trump was re-elected, nothing fazes me anymore.

His fingers filled with fibers of protein as he finished feeding the fish, he flirted with the idea of holding one in his hand for a moment, watching them flounder on the fringe at the finish of their life.

Bringing himself back from the momentary freeze of this thought, he forged ahead to the next tank. Following the flow of life contained in tiny bodies, swimming forever in circles, he imagined their life as boring as his own.

I didn’t realize it from the start, the impact you would make on my life. It started as a flirty message because I enjoyed your humor. It became something more, not necessarily intended, but a saving grace for me at the time. Waxing and waning as months and years went by, I sometimes think fondly of our connection. Now I wonder who was really looking for something.

Since I moved into a completely different world in 2014, writing has been a godsend for me. It was in 2015, having a second bout of cancer that I was searching for something. Online I met a friend who encouraged and helped me set up this blog. In 2017 I finally found my style which is no style really, I just blather on with anything that comes to mind. One of my best loved television shows I now watch on my iPad, “Grantchester”. I am addicted to many of the Masterpiece Mystery offerings, but the relationship of the two main characters is perfect. Geordie and Sidney, now Will, are friends with a supporting cast of Mrs. C, Leonard, and more. Available on PBS and Prime Video. Take a look:
