Nine pm and a loud knock on the door. Checked my email, nothing from Amazon showing a picture of a delivery, but I heard the person get back in their car and drive away. So I cautiously opened the door and there was a white soft envelope containing one of the gifts for my soon to be 18 year old grandson.
Making a short story long, it has been very windy and gusting through the nights so everything seems colder than it actually is. The funny thing I wanted to tell you is that when I opened the door I heard this sound and it was exactly the sound of wind you hear in a movie soundtrack on a snowy mountain top disaster. Actual whistling– and it made me smile.
So that’s it, just thought I’d share a sound that stirs the imagination on a Monday night.

“Argo”, is a movie starring Ben Affleck and a host of character actors I’ve liked for a long time. A story based on true events and real people and worth your time. Personal note: It was before the Shah was overthrown that my husband and our family were going to be transferred to Tehran for two years minimum, and then cancelled. Someone was watching over us. This is my look after taking all the word prompts and writing a story to post using them and then finding an appropriate photo to accompany my words and then suddenly the whole works disappears. 😳😱🙄🥴

I used all the prompts in one post in order not to flood the reader and put this lovely picture on it and then poof, it disappeared. I looked in drafts and there were old ones I had redone and published and who else is tired of the three steps it takes to delete an already trashed post and why can’t you delete them all at once instead of one at a time? By now you see I am frustrated at WP again.
So here is the pic and I’ll just let you use your imagination with today’s prompts.
