Quite comfortable with her legs stretched out in sand

It’s been a while, she thought, with a man

Beachy love and waving water

No thoughts now of son or daughter

Just nostalgic freedom of younger days

Sitting, watching undulating waves

Was this real, or climax of her dreams

Reluctant waking as sunlight streams.

The Sunday Whirl

The tower fencing acted like a trap for the puppies that wanted to bound around the yard and slip through the fence to play with luring dogs in the next door yard. The puppies’ master was tired after setting up the fencing, and sealing cracks in the wood trim. Grasping the wire edges caused his hands to swell, so he was relaxing under a fan on the patio. His wife brought his favorite morning breakfast, coffee with cream and frosted doughnuts. Surveying the high fencing, his chest swelled realizing he was able to complete the project.

Judy’s pilot entertainment program for seniors wasn’t working well. The ladies and gentlemen had much different ideas. Judy’s grandparents were her main experience for dealing with older people. She grew up with quiet, respectful adults. When meeting the elderly in 2025, all had changed. It was party, party, party!
