“And now we present two identical Ming vahzes.”

“Those aren’t matching at all! Look at that small fissure! It’s certainly no secret to see, and saying they are identical is malarkey!”

(This conversation made public in a segment of the ancient items television show.)

RDP Wednesday – CONVERSATION

Star Trek Lovers Unite

The original Star Trek was watched by our family religiously and it’s only right that William Shatner gets to see it for real. I just wish Leonard Nimoy could have been with him. There is a funny YouTube video interview with Anderson Cooper available that took place before the successful flight today. Bill is indeed living long and prosperously 🖖🏻🖖🏻🖖🏻

From NPR:

Blue Origin’s second human spaceflight has returned to Earth after taking a brief flight to the edge of space this morning.

Among the four passengers on board — there is no pilot — was William Shatner, the actor who first played the space-traveling Captain Kirk in the Star Trek franchise.

She was shocked when she opened the envelope and saw that it was a red splotch of what looked like blood over a mysterious word—guilty.

Her first instinct was to call her husband into the room but then hesitated. She grabbed her cel and tried to contact Jules but there was no answer. Then she felt a panic come over her. She dashed out to her car to check on Jules and see he was alright. Their affair always meant more to him than her and she was praying he did nothing foolish.

It only took fifteen minutes for her to reach his flat. She was lucky not to get pulled over for speeding but when she drove into his parking lot, the police were already there for a different matter. She didn’t care what they thought as she pushed by them into the apartment complex hallway. His door wasn’t open so she pounded on the door. After what seemed a lifetime, Jules casually opened the door. He had an evil grin on his face, “get some upsetting news my dear?”

At first she thought she was going to faint, her legs felt like jelly. Seeing that he was perfectly fine, anger took over. “What’s the meaning of this” shaking the bloody note in his face.

“Just an admission of guilt I was hoping your husband would open and read.”

“I knew you didn’t want to end the affair, but this is too much! I never want to hear from you again!”

“C’est la vie, mon amour”, shutting the door in her face.

QUESTIONS

(Two ‘seasonal’ and two plain today)

What is the scariest game (board or on-line) you ever may have played?

What’s just ‘over the rainbow” for you?

Do you have to watch something upbeat after watching a suspense or horror movie so you can go to sleep?

Is there intent behind every action?

GRATITUDE SECTION (as always, optional)

***

The scariest game I ever played was Ouija board with some neighbor women, one who was trying to contact her mother😵‍💫

Just over the rainbow for me timewise is a move to a new apartment, very stressful.

I do not have to watch something upbeat after horror, I don’t watch horror. The news is horrible enough!

I do not think there is intent behind every action.

I am thankful today for my granddaughter going in for a postoperative check. I’m also happy to say I enjoyed a zoom call with my son and wife from France. And always—love of family🥰

Simply Six Minutes Challenge

Do you love me? Give me a smooch? Or stand by me in the garden—I’ll scooch. Yes we do take up a lot of room, just as I’m sure my height makes you swoon. I’ve been admiring you my dear, and feel I must make it clear. Your legs, so long and sturdy, surely an obvious aspect of beauty, but your neck, your neck, so long and slender, I just want to caress it, so tender. I’m not forgetting your color and spots, which of course, I love them lots! You see, I think I’m completely smitten! Maybe you’re shy, I just should have written—a note instead of being so bold, as to say outright what I just told.
