Really?

Anyone and I mean anyone with even half a brain knows takeout cups are notoriously horrible and we should never rely on one. But suing a company because of her own error—this is her worst problem in today’s world? Unbelievable!

“An 85-year-old woman is suing McDonald’s. She alleges workers were negligent in securing her coffee cup lid, which caused coffee to spill and burn her stomach, groin and leg area. The incident is renewing interest in a similar 1994 lawsuit.”

Probably the worker will be fired over this. Maybe Trump will set up a gofundme for the old lady! It’s his type of publicity.

W3 74

This is a tall order. W3😀

An everyday object for some

I’d have to say it’s my Number One

Think of Star Trek and if you do

You will see why it’s never a two

Every minute of every day it’s with me

Using, needing, cursing its necessity

Black and metal with silver trim

Wheels always acting on a whim

Mostly reliable but still a pain

Not to be used in lightning or rain

I’m sure my companions, ‘cause I always need one

Think getting it in and out of a car is no fun

But they do and I’m grateful for that

Otherwise in my room all day I’d be sat

I see others with electric wheels

I’m not ready to make that yield

At least my arms are getting some movement

It’s the legs that need bereavement

I’ve had some comical times

Underestimating distance finds

Picking up something that falls on the floor

I really don’t do that anymore

So if you visit and think it’s odd

Seeing some object you have to dodge

Just be a dear and set it back

My thank you will have no lack

I’m sure you know of what I speak

It’s not an adventure you should seek.

Fandango’s Story Starter

This week’s Story Starter teaser is:

You should have seen the look on his face when…I pulled off my trench coat! I thought he’d be pleased, excited, turned on maybe, but this? I read it in the fashion magazine, it was the latest thing! I pulled the trench coat back over my stringy fashion find, all revealing with no underwear. What I didn’t expect was him fainting, falling flat on his face! I helped him up and found a towel to push against his broken nose, drove him to the ER and sulked.
