Your three words today are:
HERE THERE EVERYWHERE

You can’t avoid it, it’s everywhere

Makes you want to tear your hair

There it sits on every “news” page

Someone must think they’re giving sage

Advice to little old you and me

Don’t know about you, but I know me

I worry about who’s spouting here

All the negativity and fear

It gets to be too much

When did “news” start to suck?

Maybe if T goes to jail

The hate will start to fail

Should we not look and just pretend

That somehow it will end

But even now we still write our rhymes

To promote peace and love in this time.

Three Things Challenge #M621

MLMM Saturday Mix

Maria adjusted the mask with a hidden oxygen source and walked into the casino. According to the internet, it was masquerade night and that seemed a great opportunity for the gig. Her computer had always been a good resource to find out where the rich and famous were hiding out. She signaled the rest of her crew who were nestled behind the casino in a stand of thick trees. One had the grenade—it was not a lethal one, it was a shock and awe device that temporarily blinded and deafened the people around it. Maria went up to the nearest table pretending to join in gambling, placed a hundred dollar bill and threw the dice which landed in a curious diagonal stop. It was a magical pair that she switched to create a distraction as her cohorts entered behind the table. John opened the grenade and while everyone was stunned, they gathered up all the cash they could. The crew of thieves walked out, tossing their helpful masks into the van and drove off.

I thought it an err in his judgement

And saw the will as a punishment

I’m his only heir

Just wasn’t fair

When his cats received somuchofit.

Thought my tenable funds base

And my “calling” as a disgrace

Even said so right to my face

But fans love me playing the bass.

Fandango’s Flashback Friday — March 1st

Basketball

I’m elusive and sweaty

Handed off here and there

Hands grab at me always

Hoping for a score there

Pushing, elbows, fingernails sharp

Fake falls and splats while coaches harp

Refs unbiased should be the case

Not found in a high school race

Parents and friends loud and obnoxious

Sometimes their words are too toxic

But in the end

Lose or win

They can’t do it without me.

A house, a home, so many wanting and needing one and so few of the wealthy try to help with this problem. Buildings are constantly being torn down in poor neighborhoods and then replaced by areas for the wealthy. Where are the ousted persons supposed to go?

Proponents would rather go into politics with other like minded individuals and complain about the homeless instead of finding remedies for the situation. It’s one of those “walk a mile in my shoes” situations where the divide is so great it can’t be crossed. Or can it?

Many of these politicians and their followers are quick to spout their religious beliefs and then act in a totally opposite manner—the basic tenet of all religions: love your fellow man/do unto others etc.

We can all probably agree this is the ideal and if you decide to loudly decree the tenet, why then, act differently? I think they are hiding their true intentions and only want more wealth and more power.
