Harry was pissed! All this time he thought Amy loved him for his strength, his mystery, and probably his long black hair. Okay, it was starting to get gray streaks, but he was over three hundred years old! This night as every third Saturday night, he changed and she just stared at him, hands on hips. “What? Harry asked. Is something wrong?”

“Wrong? Wrong? Harry, you look horrible! What happened to that beautiful black fur you always sprout on these nights?”

Harry went to the mirror and freaked out. His whole body was looking like he put his claw in a light socket! He charged out of the house looking for prey. Any warm blooded creature would do…hey, it’s a deer! Wolf hunger satisfied. The next day he would visit the pack and ask for advice.

Everyone thought it was a party boat, a little cruise, a little booze, a possible schmooze, what could be the harm? That’s what Joe hoped they all would think as he planned a two in the morning robbery of each millionaire on board. Apparently Joe didn’t think things through.

  1. Millionaires party all night long
  2. Millionaires have bodyguards, really big ones
  3. Millionaires have safes in their rooms, with secret combinations
  4. Millionaires have husbands and wives that don’t care to party and stay in their rooms

Joe jumped overboard, was picked up by the harbor patrol, and had a hard time explaining what he was doing in the water a long ways from shore in the middle of the night.

W3 Prompt #130: Wea’ve Written Weekly

3TC

Your three words today are: OUTRAGE CROSS LIVID.

Has it ever crossed your mind why people take a job they probably don’t like, don’t try to do it well, and provide no excuse for their inefficiency? I find it outrageous that so many businesses employ this type of person.

Today I spent three and a half hours talking to two different businesses and I still don’t have the impression I’ll be served. My original call was on the 16th to both places and I took notes as usual. I didn’t hear anything or receive my medical supplies, so I called again yesterday. Both places had “no record” of my calls.😳🤯. I should not have been surprised but I was, even at my age you’d think I’d know better.

Today I recalled both to make sure everything was copacetic and of course it was not. Needless to say I was livid but remained calm on the phone. Afterwards I was so upset I couldn’t say anything to anyone. After lunch, I’m now resigned to the fact that if everyone does their actual F-ing job, I might get the medical supplies I need.😖

Writing Prompts – Halloween

***

Working on costumes back in the day

Every child wanted a certain way

To be funny or scare someone

Imagination soaring getting them done

Would they be happy to be a boxed tv

A monster, or some sports guy they had seen

Or a princess with a flowing dress

Sewing, cutting, making a mess

I remember my girl as Elizabeth the Queen

Remaking my prom frock so she would reign supreme

Memories of these times are not scary at all

Its nostalgia with my children and into it we fall.
