No politics here:





No camera, just an old phone and the flowers are a week old but I still think they’re beautiful in the sunlight.


Endlessly awakening in the night gently illuminates my brain knowing I am under too much stress. Even trying a soft flow of gently driven music does not cause me to breathe quietly and drift off to sleep. A renewal of fresh daylight is beyond me.

Pick 3, a kinda sorta creative challenge

We used to shake, rattle and roll in the fifties. Bill Haley and the Comets were on the radio day and night. Even American Bandstand hosted by Dick Clark made you shake your tail feathers. Fifty years of tv, watching band performers and teens dancing – even I was shocked to think it was fifty years! American Bandstand won Emmy awards and I was even surprised to read that. I guess it rattled my brain – doesn’t take much.

The strength of my heart is on hold as the powerful takeover of despots seems to flow freely now. How the destruction caused by low individuals holds us captive with their flashy facades is always a mystery to me, but it’s nothing new in our history. Usually there is a turnaround – let’s hope it doesn’t come too late.

A nature lover at heart, Jane decided to revamp an old telephone booth she saw leaning off the sidewalk. After a few repairs, starting with a new bright red coat of paint and then some shelves. She was quite busy with this project but wondered how to fill the shelves properly. She removed the glass panels and put many plants, mostly flowering ones, on the layered boards. Passersby enjoyed her efforts, but the most frequent admirer was Mr. Pigeon. He liked having a pleasant sanctuary in the city.
