Love Is In Da Blog 10

A love song about unconditional love (from 1967)

You ask me if there’ll come a time
When I grow tired of you
Never, my love
Never, my love

You wonder if this heart of mine
Will lose its desire for you
Never, my love
Never, my love

What makes you think love will end?
When you know that my whole life depends
On you (on you)

Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba (ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba)

Never, my love
Never, my love

You say you fear I’ll change my mind
I won’t require you
Never, my love
Never, my love

How can you think love will end
When I’ve asked you to spend your whole life
With me? (with me, with me)

Never, my love (never, my love)
Never, my love
Never, my love (never, my love)
Never, my love
Never, my love

Rory’s Morning Dawdler

1. I probably know a lot of weird facts since I was raised in Vermont🙄. Sorry, I cannot be serious today, seriously😊
2. I only have one meal a day usually in afternoon and it’s whatever I have on hand or delivered by Meals on Wheels—sometimes mysterious and sometimes great.
3. Freedom to be me.
4. My family, always.

RDP – Pernicious

Every time I see this word I think of reading “James and the Giant Peach”, novel by Roald Dahl. I remember how fun it was reading it out loud to my kids using characters’ voices and saying new words like pernicious describing villains. I like the RD books and my children loved them too.

dVerse Poets Poetics

Greetings! Ingrid of Experiments in Fiction here, with a prompt I hope will inspire you. I would like you to write a poem about a special gift you have received at some time in your life.

***

When romance dwindled and life became routine

A gift from my husband fulfilled a dream

Unexpected from the usual new appliance sheen

A beauty pair of earrings with colorful gemstones seen.

**the look of surprise on my son in law’s face mirrored mine—I get a chuckle out of that now☺️
